A new Town-home complex is currently being developed off of Geneva Road in Orem, UT. Just a mile or so from our Orem Center Street location.
These trendy town homes feature the Apache Ledgestone paired with an extremely wide variety of siding colors, patterns, and textures. This complex truly depicts the fact that this stone can literally go with just about any other body color, texture, or pattern you would like to pair it with.
The Apache Ledgestone is a two-sided natural stone giving in more versatility than most other stone materials.
They also laid the stone with a gray mortar color which contrasted tone-wise and color-wise from the warmth in the stone adding even more versatility.
The designers of the complex kept each building cohesive by using the same stone, stacking style and grout with white pillars, windows, banding, trim, garage doors, soffit, fascia, gutters, and drip edge and a vibrant contrasting color for the doors.
The doors were either white, a shade of blue, cream, yellow, or green.
They did stone wainscoting and pop outs paired with the different body textures and patterns of stucco, lap board, board and batten.
The Apache is a natural stone, so from pallet to pallet will have some variation which we can see in the photos, however, which stones the mason’s choose to flip and what ratios they use the different sides, what colors it is paired with on each building, as well as the stacking style and mortar make a huge difference on how the stone appears.
Whether it is paired with dark grey, light grey, blue grey, brown grey, green grey, sage green, olive green, light green, navy blue, light blue, turquoise, teal, cream, white, brown, taupe, or yellow, this Apache Ledgestone looks right at home.
The Apache Ledgestone’s front side features a variety of more warm and warmer neutral tones, including: reds, rusts, tans, yellows, golds, and browns with some pieces having a black or a brown moss on it.
The backside is more cool and cooler neutral tones, including: greens, taupes, whites, and greys.
As you can see, this stone is the definition of versatile. And if you are looking for a versatile stone this could be the one for you. Drop by one of our HHDU Stone Divisions & Design Centers to see the Apache up close and personal and pick our designers brains.
