By basic definition a ‘Man Cave’ is “a room, garage, basement, or other part of the home regarded as a refuge for the man or men of a household”.
There is one thing we here at HHDU would like to add to this definition. That is the space must include some sort of masonry. There’s no better way to create a more authentic and masculine feel than by adding a brick or stone wall or fireplace.
By choosing a stone or brick that fits his liking, you can give the room a more rugged yet homey feel that really emphasizes that feeling of “refuge”.
Choose a cultured stone, natural stone, manufactured thin brick, or a real clay brick. Any of these products can do the trick.
