Ivory Homes is one of the most well known builders in Utah. Their Utah Valley Parade Home, Big Cottonwood, was one that we definitely need to talk about! This Traditional home enveloped 3,680 square feet of well used space. Located in Pleasant Grove, UT, this sub-development is full of timeless exteriors.
The Exterior
The Exterior of this home is simple and traditional. With a 3′ Wainscoting of stone, we see the value in what masonry can to do a home! Faced with Silverdelle Lueders from Harristone, this stone combines a gray base with some dark warm tones. Certainly one of our favorite aspects of this home is the ability to balance warm and cool tones through the stone. While the stone provides a neutral base, the lap siding provides a rich color. Because of the three tones used, we see a simple yet interesting color palette come to life on this exterior! Another aspect that we love with this home is the contrast from lap siding, to trim, to stone. With this beautiful contrast it keeps all elements clean and fresh. Above all, this simple traditional home brings an endless amount of possibilities for the decor!
