We were first inspired for this post by the new Houzz article ‘Natural Connection‘ where they showcase this awesome living space filled with aspects that connect the room back to nature. 

We especially love their natural limestone fireplace!

This got us thinking about some other interior spaces we’ve done, that have had that same natural feeling. 

Lots of natural light, the openness, wood flooring, natural colors, and indoor plants all add to the natural feel of the above photo.

The mossy stone, wood flooring and matching ceiling, wood mantel, and animal skin rug remind us of a natural cabin escape. 

And this two sided fireplace from this years Utah Valley Parade of Homes, adds to the openness, natural lighting to this room. It incorporates even more of the exterior landscape than a closed fireplace wood. Topped with a rugged natural stone, this room is truly one with nature.
