Brinkerhoff ‘s Home, the Chateau Blanc, was one of the unique stand outs at this year’s Utah Valley Parade of Homes.
We talked about briefly on this home in our painted brick post stating: “This home combined Painted Brick with Stone, Stucco, Hardie, and Natural Wood Siding. It was a unique blend of textures, patterns, and colors, while keeping the look and majority of the colors light and neutral for a classy well balanced and classic feel with both bold and subtle points of interest. This home blended European and Mountain Rustic Styles in a way we’ve never seen before. And let’s just say that stone blend they used is a new office favorite.”
The stone blend featured on this home is a combination of four natural stones, from both our Merrilstone and HHDU Natural Thin lines. The blend is a combination of Square and Rectangle, and Ledgestone styles. And it blends warmer neutral earth-tones, like rusts and tans and browns, with cooler neutral earth-tones like grays, green grays, and some off-whitish grays.
They even carried the stone blend inside the home as a wainscot on a children’s Tudor cottage style playhouse. It was one of the many perfect way’s they created cohesiveness from exterior to interior.
All in all this home from outside to inside was a fan favorite and definitely one of our favorites here at HHDU. See for your self, why we’re in love with this home, and their masonry selections.
